Bayonet Training
The Third Maine Infantry is in the minority of Civil War living historians that learns and practices bayonet maneuvers. We were provided with a special treat in 2003 when the men of the Salem Light Infantry arrived to participate in the Pettengill event and to share their reknown expertise in bayonet fencing with us.
